El martes Tous y Harper's Bazzar dieron una fiesta en el Hotel Ritz, el encargado de animar a la gente fue el gran Pascal Moscheni, y sí que la animó! Estuvimos bailando montón, los huespedes que pasaron por allí debieron flipar. El Hotel sigue conservando ese aire especial de lujo antiguo, la última la tomamos en la habitación.

Las Tuesday Tous and Haper's Bazzar made a big party at the Ritz Hotel. The DJ was the great Paschal Moscheni, and he really made it fun! We had a blast dancing and drinking. The hotel still has this old fashion luxury that makes it special. We had the last drink at the room. Thank you Pascal!

Tom Cruise y Nicole Kidman son dos buenísimos actores que protagonizaron Magnolia y Dogville, dos de mis películas preferidas. Parece que su hijo también salió artista. El próximo jueves Connor Cruise, recién llegado de Coachella, estará en la sala Gabana 1800 de Madrid, donde podremos disfrutar de su DJ set en exclusiva!

Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman are great actors and the worked in Magnolia and Dogville, two of my favourites movies ever. It seems that their soon is also an artist. Fresh out of Coachella, Connor Cruise will be in  Madrid on Thursday, bringing us his exclusive DJ set at Gabana 1800.

After a relaxing Sunday, I'm getting ready for a busy, exciting week.

Today I'm wearing a vintage suede shirt purchased in Ibiza, Benetton pants, Massimo Dutti braided leather belt, Oro de Loewe camel suede espadrilles, and RetroSuperFuture shades.

Después de un domingo relajado, me preparo para una semana movida. Llevo camisa de ante vintage comprada en Ibiza, pantalones Benetton, cinturón de Massimo Dutti, alpargatas de ante Oro de Loewe y gafas RetroSuperFuture.

RODRÍGUEZ

Searching for Sugar Man, que ganó el Oscar al mejor documental del 2012, cuenta la curiosa historia del desaparecido y enigmático Sixto Rodríguez. Este desconocido cantautor publicó dos discos en los 70' que no tuvieron ninguna repercusión en EE.UU. pero sí en Sudáfrica, donde se convirtió en una súperestrella. Yo conocía alguna de sus canciones (Crucify your mind) pero no tenía ni idea de su sorprendente historia. Lo recomiendo!
Searching for Sugar Man won the Oscar for best documentary in 2013. The film tells the story of the mysterious Sixto Rodríguez, a singer-songwriter from the 70's who realised two albums without any commercial success in the U.S. Nevertheless, he became a superstar in South Africa. I knew some of Rodriguez's songs(Crucify your mind) but didn't know about his surprising story.

Rosa Copado a parte de amiga, es una gran fotógrafa. Está enamorada de la vida y no puede parar quieta ni un segundo. Hace un tiempo quedé con esta amante del Jazz para hacer unos retratos en mi casa y estas son algunas fotos de aquel día.

Rosa Copado is a friend and a great photographer. She loves life and her soul is really alive. We met at my place to shoot some portraits and these are some pictures of that day.

Hats & Wool

Hats are a great accesory to wear on sunny days (and most nights as well), and at Sombrereria Medrano (Madrid), they've been selling them since 1882. Unfortunately, many of my favorites have been lost along the way.. My latest acquisition is known as Australian Panama and it's what I'll be wearing this new season. Here it is below paired with a bulky wool cardigan by Loewe, also combined with a linen shirt purchased during a trip to Capri, Levi's jeans and a Hamilton watch. 

El sombrero es el complemento que más me gusta llevar en los días soleados (y muchas noches también) y en la sombrerería Medrano los venden desde 1882. Mi última adquisición para esta temporada es un Panamá Australiano. Llevo chaqueta de punto de lana de Loewe, camisa de lino comprada durante un viaje a Capri, vaqueros Lewi's y reloj Hamilton.
