Besos, @miguelcarrizo
The perfect plan: A road trip along the Cote d'Azur with an Aston
Martin convertible. Meeting the pilots at the Paul Ricard Circuit and spending a few days with the Hackett London team. That's how lucky I was last week when Hackett invited me to discover the special line created in collaboration with Aston Martin. We landed in Nice, whi ch is only one hour and a half away from Madrid. After landing we went straight to pick up the car. The truth is that when I got it, I felt a little responsibility because I had never driven a machine of such calibre, 510 horsepower!. I loved the experience. You push the pedal and boooom, you come out with spectacular power. Very carefully, we drove to the restaurant of Chef Bruno Oger and from there my friend Bilbo and I started the adventure on the French Riviera with the toy. We drove to Monaco, losing ourselves on the roads and cliffs, takingthe curves gently with the sea in the background. After a few hours of road tripping, we arrived at the hotel just when the sun was setting. My room was spectacular, in front of the sea, it had a window that looked like a painting, with the yellow and purple colors of the sky. We went down to have dinner with all the team and the other guys who came from France, Germany and the UK. We met one of the pilots of the Aston Martin team who told us a little about what they were going to do the next day at the circuit. Very early in the morning we drove to the Paul Ricard and we could get into the boxes and see the ins andouts of Formula 1 from the paddocks. You could feel the energy of the pilots, the nerves and the concentration. The sound of the engines and the wheels on the track is so strong that you have to put on ear plugs, although in the end you end up getting used to it.
For these days everything I wore was from the Aston Martin by Hackett collection. It is a sporty but also elegant line. Apart from polo shirts and t-shirts they have jeans, more formal pants and shirts and very comfortable jackets and anoraks. My favourite garment, without a doubt, is the nappa leather jacket, spectacularly soft and perfectly made.
Thank you to all the team for taking such a good care of us.
Kisses, @miguelcarrizo
