Uno de los primeros desfiles en los que estuve en la NY Fashion Week fue el de Custo Barcelona. Un rato antes de que empezara me pude meter en el backstage a hacer fotos e intentar plasmar el trabajo que hay detrás de cada colección. Todo el equipo de maquilladors, peluqueros, estilistas.. curando como locos y sin perder ni un segundo. Había mucha prensa española e internacional y montón de televisiones haciendo entrevistas. 

Me gustó el desfile, sobre todo un par de pantalones que a ver si me hago con ellos. Gracias al equipo de XXL y a todos los amigos que estabais por allí.

One of the firsts shows I attended in  NY Fashion Week was Custo Barcelona. I had the opportunity of going  backstage and take some pictures: I tried to translate the work behind each collection, all the make up artists, hairdressers, stylists .. healing like crazy and not missing a second, crazy! There were many Spanish and  a bunch of international press making interviews for TV. 

The show was really cool,  I specially loved the trousers. Thanks to the XXL crew and all the friends that were there.

La semana pasada tuve la suerte de asistir una vez más a la pasarela 080 de Barcelona. Como siempre feliz de volver a la ciudad que me acogió durante doce años. El clima tan agradable que tiene me hace sentir muy agusto y sobretodo me puedo reencontrar con todos los amigos que hace tiempo que no veo.

Estas fotos las hizo Gerard Estadella en el backstage del Borne Centro Cultural, el espectacular antiguo mercado recién inaugurado donde hicieron los desfiles esta temporada. También hay alguna de la noche que llegamos a la ciudad con mucha energía. En realidad son un avance del próximo post; muy pronto subiré las fotos del desfile de Mango y mi estreno como reportero!

Last week I had the chance to attend the 080 fashion shows in Barcelona. I'm always happy to come back to the city where I lived for twelve years. The weather is always so good and I get to see all the friends that I haven't seen in so long.
These pictures were taken by Gerard Estadella in the backstage of the Borne Centre Cultural. This amazing old market has recently been renovated and all the shows this season took place there. Here are also some pics from the night we arrived in the city full of energy!
This is only a preview of my next post. Very soon I will post all the photos of the Mango show and my first video as a reporter!

El jueves pasado Bvlgari dio una cena para presentar su nueva fragancia Aqva Amara en el Palacio de Duarte Pinto Cohelo. No tardamos nada desde mi casa así que fuimos de los primeros en llegar. Luego la cosa se fue animando y los amigos fueron apareciendo. Había invitados de todo tipo pero sobre todo gente de la cultura, actores, y Jon Kortajarena como embajador de la marca e imagen del perfume. Todo el salón olía a mandarina siciliana y a mediterráneo que es la base de la nueva fragancia. Después de una cena muy acogedora a la luz de las velas invadimos los baños y los salones y estuvimos hablando y bebiendo hasta altas horas. Gracias a Bvlgari y a su Director internacional Stephane Gerschel por esta noche tan especial. Y a Juana, Quim, Gala, Ernesto.. por convertir siempre los eventos en algo más!

Las Thursday Bvlgari hosted a dinner to present its new fragrance Aqva Amara at the Palace of Duarte Pinto Cohelo. It is quite close to my place so we were one of the firsts guests to get there. The ambiance gently picked up as friends arrived. There were guests of all kinds, but specially from the world of culture, acting, and model Jon Kortajarena - ambassador of the brand and image of the new perfume. The whole room tickled the sense with smells of Mediterranean and Sicilian mandarins- the base of the new fragrance. After a cozy dinner we invaded the bathrooms and lounges and spent the night talking and drinking. 

My thanks goes to Bvlgari and its international Director Stephane Gerschel for this enjoyable evening. And to Juana, Quim, Gala, Ernesto.. for always turning events into something special!

An amazing weekend in the mountains and a walk just at the perfect moment. On the way out we found a huge rainbow and a beautiful light. After too manydays in the city and too much pavement I had to recharge my batteries and breath some fresh air. I’m wearing Diesel jeans, Pedro García shoes and Burberry gabardine.

Un fin de semana increíble en la montaña y un paseo justo en el momento perfecto. Al salir nos encontramos con un arco iris enorme y una luz preciosa. Después de muchos días por la ciudad y el asfalto hay que cargar pilas y respirar aire puro. 
Llevo vaqueros Diesel, zapatos Pedro García y gabardina Burberry.
