Top Man x Zalando

¡Ya tenemos TopMan estemos donde estemos! Y la web de venta online Zalando organizó un evento en Madrid para celebrar su nueva colaboración con la marca. El espacio que eligieron me encanta, a veces se hacen presentaciones allí y es un sitio muy amplio en el que nunca estás agobiado, con un aire industrial, no como en otros eventos en los que está hasta arriba y nos matamos por coger un trozo de jamón, jaja. Allí me reuní con algunos amigos donde nos enseñaron el anuncio en primicia que la modelo Cara Delevigne hizo para lanzar esta campaña. A la vez se estaba haciendo una sesión de fotos con dos modelos y nosotros también estuvimos posando un rato con un coche retro que tenían allí. Yo ya me monté mis historias de viajes, auto-stop etc...  y estuve haciendo el idiota con una maleta que tenían de "atrezzo" que no sé por qué me recordó a una escultura que tenía de Hernández y Fernández, los gemelos de Tintín.

El look que llevo es entero de Top Man. Está muy bien que los clientes de Zalando ya podemos dejarnos inspirar por campañas especiales y las últimas tendencias visitando la sección de Top Shop y Top Man porque tienda física de hombre creo que solo hay en Barcelona. Además La selección de artículos será actualizada cada dos semanas así que tenemos donde elegir.

Finally we can buy TopMan wherever we are! Zalando, the online retailer, organized an event in Madrid to celebrate their new partnership with the brand. The place they chose is really cool. I've been there for other presentations and I love that it's a really open space, kind of industrial, and you can feel

comfortable walking around, unlike other crowded events where we kill each other to grab a piece of jamón, haha. We gathered some friends to see the collection and watch the new brand video that model Cara Delevigne made to launch this campaign. Meanwhile they were doing a photo shoot with two models and we also struck a pose with a retro car they had there. I made UP my own stories about traveling, hitchhiking etc … In the pictures I'm wearing a total look by Top Man. It is great that Zalando's  customers can already be inspired by special campaigns and the latest trends by visiting the Top Shop and Top Man section on the site because we don't have any regular store in Spain beside the Barcelona one. Also, the selection of items will be updated every two weeks so we'LL have plenty of things to choose.

Manlul 56: April in Green

Ya estamos en abril, el mes de la lluvia y las gabardinas. Mi preferida es esta de Sandro Paris que me compré hace unos meses en Berlín. El jersey es de Top Man y los zapatos son de una marca que se llama Glent Shoes, están totalmente personalizados. Vas a la tienda y te miden la forma exacta de tu pie en una máquina. Luego elijes la horma que quieras, la suela, los cordones, la piel… todo. También pueden escribir tu nombre en el interior y la frase que quieras. La verdad es que me costó mucho decidirme porque todo el material que tenían eran precioso.  Los calcetines son Happy Socks y el sombrero lo compré en Halstat, un pueblo suizo, aquí podéis ver el post del viaje.

Aprovecho para contaros que el jueves estuve viendo Enajenatorium, una obra de teatro de Hendrick’s Gyn que no os dejará indiferentes. Es la historia del misterioso Doctor H y su viaje a la enajenación, donde el público hace un recorrido por lugares y salas de lo más peculiar y participa con los actores en un formato teatral totalmente fuera de lo cotidiano.   Estarán en el Teatro Arlequín hasta el 10 de mayo.

April already, the rainy month for gabardines and raincoats. My favourite is this Sandro Paris that I purchased some months ago in Berlin. The sweater I´m wearing is by Top Man and the shoes are totally customized. The Brand is called Glent Shoes. If you go to the shop they will put your feet on a machine that will measure your exact foot shape. Then you choose the last you most like, as well as the sole, the laces, the type of leather and anything else you want. You can also write down your name in the interior or any phrase or quote you want. It is hard to choose among all those beautiful materials!. Im also wearing Happy Sucks and a the hat I bought in Halstat, here is the post from that trip. 

By the way, last Thursday I went to the theatre to see Enajenatorium, a play from Herndrick’s Gyn that will not leave you indefferent. Have a nice weekend!

Manlul 54: Countryside Vibration

How good it feels to leave the city and the routine even if it's just for a weekend. Taking a deep breath and enjoying the nature it's something very necessary for me. That's what I did a few weeks ago to celebrate the birthday of two friends  of mine on a spectacular place called La Dehesa de la Serna. We prepared them a big surprise party in this incredible 500 years old palatial house in the countryside. With a huge pond, several springs… a-ma-zing!

In the pictures I'm wearing: Topshop poncho, jeans and shoes by Tommy Hilfiger, merino wool sweater by Mango Man, a coat by Carolina Herrera, Persol shades y reloj Skagen.

Qué gusto da salir de la ciudad y de la rutina aunque solo sea por un fin de semana. Tomar aire y desconectar en la naturaleza es algo muy necesario para mi. Eso fue lo que hice hace unas semanas para celebrar el cumpleaños de dos amigos en un sitio espectacular llamado La Dehesa de la Serna. Les preparamos una fiesta sorpresa en esta increíble finca de más de 500 años de historia, con su casa palaciega, sus estanques, manantiales… una auténtica belleza. 

En las fotos llevo: poncho de Topshop, vaqueros y zapatos de Tommy Hilfiger, jersey de lana de merino de Mango Man, abrigo de Carolina Herrera, gafas Persol y reloj Skagen.

Manlul 21: Bricks&Blue

Los hombres tenemos muy poco donde elegir cuando se trata de complementos así que en esta época de frío el gorro puede ser perfecto para estar abrigado y darte un toque. También las mochilas, no bolsos tal cual  eso se los dejamos a las mujeres, pero si una bolsa como esta de Henten hecha a mano con las mejores pieles. Y por supuesto, el reloj. Para este look en tonos azules elegí un Zitizien vintage heredado de una persona muy especial, un gran artista que ya no está con nosotros. Llevo jersey y gorro de Top Shop, vaqueros Diesel, abrigo Victorio & Luccino y zapatillas Camper diseñadas por Roamin Kremer.

Men have very little choice when it comes to accessories, so in this cold weather a hat may be perfect for extra warmth and it can give your style a nice a touch.  Also backpacks, not handbags, we leave that for women, but a bag like this by Henten crafted with the finest leathers. And of course, the watch. For this look in blue tones I chose a vintage Zitizien inherited from a very special person, a great artist who is no longer with us. The sweater and the hat that I am wearing are from Top Shop with Diesel jeans, Luccino Victorio coat  & Camper shoes designed by Romain Kremer. @miguelcarrizo

Manlul 15: Let's take a ride

There are very few things that describe a man better than his car and one of my favorites is this convertible Mercedes 300sl. The roads that I like to drive the most are the single lane ones by the cliffs and the sea, absolute freedom!

For this drive I`m wearing Top Man shorts, T-shirt and deck shoes H.E. by Mango, Massimo Dutti Equestrian belt, Etnia Barcelona shades and Rolex watch.

Hay pocas cosas que definan mejor el carácter de un hombre que su coche y uno de mis preferidos es este Mercedes 300sl descapotable. Las carreteras que más me gusta conducir son las de un solo carril, con los acantilados y el mar al lado, libertad absoluta!

Para esta carrera llevo pantalones de Top Man, camiseta y naúticos H.E. by Mango, cinturón de Massimo Dutti, gafas Etnia Barcelona y reloj Rolex.
