César Villalba, in addition of being part of the creative team of Loewe, is addicted to sport. He likes to spend his weekends doing triathlon competitions or getting ready for the "IronMan" next October in Miami, but he also has time to go to the best parties in the city. The manlul of this month is passionate about bikes and tattoos but above all he likes to travel aroud the world and learn about new places that he uses as an inspiration when creating his collections. He likes to incorporate sportswear technique and vintage pieces to his handbags, joining the past with the present. @cesarvillalbajr runs life sweating style!

César Villalba, además de formar parte del equipo creativo de Loewe, es un adicto al deporte. Disfruta de sus fines de semana en competiciones de Triatlón o preparándose para el "IronMan" de Miami el próximo octubre, pero también tiene tiempo para ir a las mejores fiestas de la ciudad. El manlul de este mes es un apasionado de las bicis y los tatuajes pero sobretodo de viajar por el mundo y conocer nuevos lugares que le sirvan de inspiración a la hora de crear sus colecciones. Le gusta incorporar la técnica de la ropa deportiva y las piezas vintage a sus bolsos uniendo así el pasado con el presente. @cesarvillalbajr corre por la vida sudando estilo!

Let's Rock with Converse

Converse es una de las marcas más míticas y seguro que todos  calzamos sus zapatillas alguna vez. Yo recuerdo cuando era pequeño que mi madre todavía me tenía que atar los cordones de mis Converse. 

Muchos años después de aquello, Converse  presenta "Rock Craftsmanship" con una estética que homenajea el espíritu del Rock 'n Roll. Y para celebrar la colección Chuck Taylor All Star Rock Craftmanships, inauguran una "pop up" store en Madrid (C/Barcelo 9) durante 5 semanas. Nos vemos allí el 27 de septiembre! También habrá varios conciertos secretos..

Vogue Fashion Night Out

Last Thursday Madrid celebrated Vogue Fashion's Night Out and it was a very special evening, for men's fashion as well. My night started at Vogue's stand  where I met few friends before heading to the Loewe store where I had the honor of playing my favourite songs with my dear friend Miranda Makaroff. 

Jose Luis Diez, from GQ magazine,stopped by and took some pictures of me, which he included on his style report of the evening. We kept on partying until very late in Jacuzzi party where Pascal Moscheni was DJing, it was a really fun night!

I'm wearing Sisley jeans, suede shirt and Oro camel suede espadrilles by Loewe.

Este jueves fue la Vogue Fashion's Night Out y una noche especial también para la moda masculina. Primero pasé por la carpa de Vogue y pude hablar con unos cuantos amigos que estaban por allí y corriendo me fui a la tienda de Loewe donde tuve el honor de estar animando a la gente con mi selección de canciones preferidas junto a Miranda Makaroff. 
José Luis Diez, de la revista GQ, hizo un reportaje de los hombres con más estilo donde me incluyó. La noche acabó a altas horas y todos bailando como locos en la fiesta Jacuzzi donde pinchó Pascal Moscheni.

Llevo un polo de ante y alpargatas de Loewe y vaqueros de Sisley.

Estas fotos pertenecen a una sesión que hicimos en julio con mi amigo y fotógrafo Xabier Tudela y mi compañera de Corazza y preciosa actriz Lucia Delgado. 

Sentado en la Vespa llevo camisa de Batabasta, pantalones de Mango He y gafas Super. Entre columnas, pantalones y jersey de Loewe, zapatos YMC y gafas de Dior (Safilo). En la última foto camisa de Adolfo Dominguez.

This shooting was made in july with my friend and photographer Xabier Tudela and my colleague and gorgeous actress Lucia Delgado.

Este es un video que hice este verano con Hector Torra para Airbnb. Lo rodamos todo en un día. Yo pensé que sería imposible con tanta localización pero con este director sí es posible! Qué gusto, sin tener que repetir mil veces lo mismo, ¡Un placer!

This is a video I made this summer with Hector Torra for Airbnb. We film it in one day, I thought it was going to be impossible with so many locations, but with this director it is possible, so good not having to repeat the same thing a hundred times!

Shoes are just as important as the rest of the clothes and they can really help personalize your style or add an extra touch to your look. Often for men it can be hard to find comfortable well designed dress shoes, especially to wear back with suits. Here are some models that I like.

For the last party I chose a black Hugo Boss suit, AD linen shirt and Massimo Dutti shoes.

Los zapatos son tan importantes como el resto de prendas y en muchas ocasiones pueden ayudarte a personalizar tu estilo o darle el toque de gracia que le falta a un look. A veces no es fácil encontrar comodidad y diseño, sobretodo en los zapatos de vestir cuando los hombres llevamos trajes. Aquí os muestra o algunos de los modelos que más me gustan.

Para la última fiesta elegí un traje negro de Hugo Boss, camisa de lino de AD y zapatos Massimo Dutti.

Manlul of the month: I do it my way

David is very attached to the ocean. During the winter he studies Medicine in Lithuania but he spends every summer in a very special place, a scandinavian cabin in the slope of a green mountain on the shores of the Cantabrian Sea.

Every morning, he walks to the nearby wild beach with his surfboard and spends hours catching waves. He finishes his days watching the beautiful sunsets  surrounded by good friends.

David is an example of the "neo-hippie" that enjoys simple things in life, living without pretentions, trying to get the most out of a lifestyle based on simplicity without giving up joy.

Here you can have a look at fundación Emalaikat, with which David works very closely. They impulse and put in practice  humanitarian and development programs in Africa.

David está muy unido al mar. Durante el invierno estudia medicina en Lituania pero pasa todos sus veranos en un refugio muy especial, una cabaña escandinava en la ladera de un monte a orillas del Mar Cantábrico.

Cada día camina con su tabla hasta la playa salvaje y disfruta cogiendo olas durante horas. Por las tardes se rodea de amigos y juntos disfrutan las impresionantes puestas de sol.

David es un ejemplo del "neo-hippie" que disfruta de las cosas simples, que vive sus días sin pretensiones, intentando sacar lo máximo de un modo de vida basado en la sencillez sin renunciar a pasarlo bien.

Aquí podéis echar un vistazo a la fundación Emalaikat, con la que colabora estrechamente y que impulsa y pone en práctica programas de ayuda y desarrollo en África.
