Manlul 47: Those days in Ibiza

Este verano tuve la oportunidad de pasar unos maravillosos días en Ibiza disfrutando de sus rincones más mágicos y de esa energía especial que transmite la isla. Fue para hacer un proyecto muy genial de la mano de Tia María. Cuando llegué y me presentaron al director me puse contentísimo, ¡Justin Wu iba a dirigir la campaña! un talento muy jóven pero con una gran carrera a sus espaldas. Estas son algunas de las fotos que hice aquellos días y el video final.

Para que recordemos el gusto que da salir por la noche y dejarse llevar sin tener que pensar en abrigos… ¡Buena semana!

This summer I had the opportunity to spend some wonderful days in Ibiza enjoying its most magical places and the special energy that the island transmits. The reason of my trip was to work in a very nice project with Tia Maria. When I arrived to the hotel and they introduced me to the team I couldn't be happier! Justin Wu was the director of the campaign! A very young and talented artist with a great career behind him. These are some pictures I took those days and the final video. Such a good feeling to go out at night with no coat…

In Tia María We Trust

Estás son algunas fotos de la campaña que hicimos en Ibiza el mes de julio para la campaña mundial de Tía María. Fue una experiencia única poder trabajar con Justin Wu y todo su equipo, a parte de ser unos grandes profesionales lo pasamos genial!

La leyenda de la TIA MARIA se remonta a mediados del siglo XVIII, cuando una joven y bella aristócrata española huyó de la guerra colonial a Jamaica. Su doncella salvó un tesoro de la familia, una pequeña caja de joyería con pendientes de perlas negras y un antiguo manuscrito con la receta de un licor misterioso. A la receta le pusieron el nombre de la valiente mujer: TIA MARIA. 

Fue entonces redescubierto en la década de 1950 por el Dr. Kenneth Leigh Evans, que comenzó a producirlo y comercializarlo. Y hasta hoy, que podemos encontrarlo en sesenta paises!

These are some of pics we shoot in Ibiza in July for Tia Maria Campaing. It was a real pleasure to work with Justin Wu and his team, we really had lots of fun!

The legend of TIA MARIA dates back to the mid-17th century, when a beautiful young Spanish aristocrat fled the turmoil colonial war brought to the island of Jamaica. Her maid saved one family treasure, a small jewelry box with black pearl earrings and an ancient manuscript with the recipe for a mysterious liqueur. The recipe was named after the courageous woman: TIA MARIA. It was then rediscovered in the 1950s by Dr. Kenneth Leigh Evans, who began to produce and market it. Still made to the original Caribbean recipe by ILLVA Saronno and distributed in over 60 countries, TIA MARIA is an exotic infusion of natural vanilla and the finest fresh coffee roasted to perfection,

complemented with a touch of Jamaican rum. Rich copper and golden amber tones blend with an enticing caramel nose to make TIA MARIA an ideal mixer in exotic cocktails.

Tia María Loves Ibiza

Los que sigáis mi Instagram habréis visto que hace poco participé en un proyecto con Tía María en Ibiza, ¡qué bien me lo pasé! Estuvimos alojados en el Hotel Destino Pachá y allí hicimos la sesión de fotos de la nueva campaña y el video que muy pronto podréis ver. Fueron unos días increíbles ya que tuve la suerte de coincidir con Miranda Makaroff y otros compañeros, además de estar en una de las islas más especiales del mundo. Y lo mejor de todo es que el realizador era Justin Wu, que con solo 28 años tiene una gran carrera y es un crack haciendo fotos y contando historias.

Those who follow me on Instagram might have seen that I recently participated in a project with Tía María in Ibiza. I had a blast! We stayed at the Destino Pacha Hotel where we shot the pictures and video for the new campaign of the label that will come up soon! 

I had the luck to work with Miranda Makaroff and other colleagues in one of the most unique islands in the world. 

We all had an amazing time and the great opportunity to meet and work with Justin Wu, such a talented young director. He really knows how to create a story and after few years he already has a remarkable career.

Thank you very much to the whole Tia Maria team for this great experience.
