My Calvins

It's been a couple of months now since the last time I was in London. As I've been there quite a few times before the summer I'm looking forward to come back and check out what's going on at the moment. These pictures were taken before going to an event/exhibition that Clavin Klein organized at the Brithish capital. I wore jeans and t-shirt by the brand (#MyCalvins!) and shoes by Neosens. The shades are Ray-Ban. We really had a blast, here you can see the post of the event.

Hace ya un par de meses que no voy a Londres. Al haber estado unas cuantas veces antes de verano ya tengo ganas de volver e indagar un poco en qué es lo nuevo por allí. Estas fotos se hicieron antes de ir a un evento/exposición que organizó Calvin Klein en la capital inglesa. Elegí pantalones y camiseta de la marca (#MyCalvins!)y me calcé unos zapatos de Neosens y unas gafas Ray-Ban. Lo pasamos genial, aquí podéis ver la crónica.

Manlul 37: London Ride

When the sun comes out I love riding my bike around the streets of Camden. The ride in the pics is a Dude Bike. I am wearing linen shirt by Old Ridel, Trousers by Dockers, Sperry Topsiders shoes, belt by Spoke London and a Rolex Datejust Oyster.

En días de sol que mejor que coger la bici y dar una vuelta por las calles de Candem. La de las fotos es una Dude Bike. Llevo camisa de lino de Old Ridel, pantalones Dockers, zapatos Sperry Topsiders cinturón de Spoke London y un Rolex Datejust Oyster.

Asos Epic Summer Event

Hace un par de semanas estuve en Londres con Asos para celebrar la llegada del verano. El equipo montó un gran evento en sus oficinas de Candem, un edificio emblemático que se convirtió por una noche en un pueblo de verano, con helados, dj, cócteles y sobretodo ambiente de fiesta. Me sorprendió mucho que todo el equipo de Asos es súper jóven y tienen muy buen rollo y buena energía, me lo pasé genial con ellos y me encantó conocerles.

Nos alojamos en el ACE Shoreditch, un hotel muy moderno y de diseño con muchos pequeños detalles que marcan la diferencia.

Aunque fue una visita fugaz me acordaré siempre. Después del Epic Summer Even nos fuimos todos a un pub mítico de Candem al ver el partido de Inglaterra y de allí a descansar al hotel. 

Al día siguiente mi vuelo salí muy pronto, cuando entre en el avión había un grupo de chicos gritándole a un señor, como una especia de pelea. Las puertas no se cerraban y a los 15 min apareció la policía en el avión, el grupo de ocho jóvenes que la estaban liando, a la calle! jaja.

Muchas gracias a Miguel de Área por hacer que todo saliera perfecto y a todo el equipo de Londres, ¡nos vemos pronto!.

The team made a big event at the headquarters in Camden Town, an emblematic building that for one night became a little summer town.  There were ice creams, dj, cocktails, and above all a great party mood! I was very pleasantly surprised with the Asos team because they're all super young and and great fun, I had the best time with them.

We stayed at the ACE Shoreditch, a trendy hotel with plenty of little details that make the difference.

Even though it was a super quick visit I will always remember it. After the Epic Summer Event we all went to a typical pub in Candem to watch the football match and later back to the hotel to rest a bit.

Manlul 34: The Most Imaginative Bartender by Bombay

Last Thursday at the Dartmouth House in London "The most imaginative bartender" contest by Bombay Sapphire took place. They chose the best bartender out of the twenty finalists who participated. It was a great event, there were musicians playing Jazz, a great atmosphere and competitors from different countries. The winner of this edition was the french Remy Savage. His cocktail, 'Paper Anniversary', was inspired by his previous visit to Laverstoke Mill, the brand's soon-to-open gin distillery in the beautiful British countryside. The unique recipe features homemade paper syrup, which provides a subtle scent of paper, linking back to the illustrious and interesting history of Laverstoke Mill that was shared during his time at the distillery this week.

The truth is that it was really tasty! The party continued with Gala's DJ Set where we danced to all the great songs she played. From there they took us in an old british bus to a mythical London cocktail bar where the party continued. For this special evening with Bombay I wore my new Spoke London pants, HyM jacket and Pedro García shoes.

Este jueves en el Dartmouth House de Londres tuvo lugar el concurso "The most imaginative bartender" de Bombay Sapphire para elegir al mejor coctelero de entre los veinte finalistas que participaron. Fue un evento genial con músicos tocando Jazz, muy buen ambiente y competidores de diferentes países del mundo. El ganador de esta edición fue el francés Remy Savage. Su cóctel, «Libro Aniversario , se inspiró en su visita previa a Laverstoke Mill, la nueva destilaría que la marca abrirá en la preciosa campiña británica. La receta única cuenta con jarabe de papel hecho en casa, que proporciona un aroma sutil de papel. ¡La verdad es que estaba buenísimo! La fiesta continuó con el DJ Set de Gala dónde todos bailamos los temazos que pinchó y de allí nos llevaron en un bus inglés de los antiguos a una mítica coctelería de Londres donde continuó la fiesta. Para esta noche tan especial con Bombay me puse mis pantalones nuevos de Spoke London, chaqueta de HyM y zapatos de Pedro García.
